Final Project- A Line: as a Relation to “My Body”.
For my project, A Line: as a Relation to “My Body”, I made a video where I built a tree using brown and green clothes from my whole family. Each piece of clothing represents different parts of the tree, kind of like showing how my family and I are all connected. Then, I added myself as the tree trunk, putting my body in a straight line to become part of the tree. This ties into the project's theme, which explores the idea of “a line” as it relates to my body. By positioning myself as part of the tree, I visually embodied how the line of my body connects with the larger whole. Inspired by Art Attack, a show I loved as a child for its creative approach to art, I added a personal twist by making myself an integral part of the piece.
