Drawing as a Verb | Research

Amy Cutler is the artist I chose; when I opened the book, “Amy Cutler Turtle Fur”, her work immediately caught my attention because of her unique, imaginative and creative style.  I like the way she combines everyday elements with fantasy because they create a surreal atmosphere that pulls you in. 

What I find compelling is her ability to convey narrative and emotion through the expressions of her characters and the details within her artwork. I believe each work seems to tell a story that creates a range of feelings that resonate with the viewer. Overall, I enjoy how her approach captures appeal while also evoking curiosity and analysis.
